Jeff Chapski (B'91)

Jeff Chapski (B'91) has been an active volunteer for Georgetown since his time on the Hilltop. After graduating, he joined the Club of New York, where he worked to establish the Career Services Committee and helped to plan the New York Club Homecoming in New York. He later went to serve as the Club's Co-President from 2004-06. Jeff also volunteered for class events and served as a class ambassador, which he continues to do to this day.

Chapski was elected to the Board of Governors in 2006. During his tenure on the Board, he has served in a variety of committee leadership roles and is the founder of the Hoya Gateway program, Co-Founder of the Georgetown Entrepreneurship Alliance, and a member of the Georgetown Wall Street Alliance Board of Advisors.

In 2008, Chapski received the GUAA William Gaston Alumni Award for his outstanding service as an undergraduate alumni and in 2013 he received the Reed Alumni Award for his dedication and commitment to the Board of Governors.

Chapski is an author, speaker and career skills coach. His twenty year career includes working with Fortune 100 companies and start-ups in the financial services, consulting, and software sectors including: J.P. Morgan, Arthur Andersen, Chase Bank, Oracle Corporation, Microsoft, and GE Capital. In 2016, Jeff published his first book, Career-ology: The Art and Science of a Successful Career. The book, written for college seniors and new professionals in the first five years of their career, focuses on the key skills that form the foundation of a new professional's career.

Chapski lives in Mamaroneck, N.Y. with his wife and son.
